<Yuba & Tofu dish cooking class> 

 

 What we’ll do

  
Join Terumi to learn how to make rich soy milk, cook Japan’s homemade tofu dishes and prepare “Dashi” stock. Preparing great “Dashi” that is the fundamental soup stock, is the key for authentic Washoku Japanese food as it adds the distinctive savoury “Umami” flavour.

 

This workshop is hands-on cooking class. We will prepare creamy tofu with various condiments and other homemade tofu dishes.

 

After cooking, let's enjoy a complete meal starting with "Yuba" which is skin of soy milk and "creamy tofu" and other dishes we cooked, and some additional dishes.   After the meal, you have a Japanese confectionery with a cup of houji tea.

<Takoyaki from scratch> 

This workshop is hands-on takoyaki cooking. Let’s cook Osaka takoyaki that the outside will have crunchy texture while the inside is creamy.

 

It takes 2 hours to learn how to make Osaka takoyaki dough from scratch, and how to grill it. About takoyaki, the both procedures are so important to make perfect balls. So I’ll tell you to do so step by step.

4. Two kinds of takoyaki sauce
5. Treat

 

After grilling, please enjoy them with Osaka coke or mineral water.
